Hey Y’all! I am (Moe) Monique Marie . I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. I am a devoted mom of two boys and yea, a lot has changed between the years of 2021-present but God 🙌🏽
I started sewing in 2013. When I sewed my very first dress, I was hooked and been sewing ever since.
When I started out sewing I was surrounded by Caucasian Women and there’s nothing wrong with that ^_^! But, as I traveled to Seattle and now Cali, I found myself surrounded by Black Women sewing, in which I was not use to seeing and that’s why I started this blog "Black Women Sew".
My blog is to showcase to the Black Community that Black Women Sew. Whether it\"s clothing, quilting, crafting, child we sew ^_^!
Also on my blog I will be keeping you updated with the latest news involving anything sewing. Sewing expos, fabric sells, quilting shows, and much more! Sew, Stay Tune ^_^!
